The Trustee has a single fixation in her liminal existence, a desire to protect the fallen god, the Neta-Teej, at all costs.Somewhere between a guard and a prisoner, the Trustee has a voice in her head and no memory of self.

She floats through a vast prison complex, a downward temple to its creator and warden, General Lucien. Called the shed and cellar by the inmates, the prison is inhabited by exiles from the United Terran Coalition. They are seers, religious dissidents, and creators of inhuman entities, all with their own secret plots and a desire to become something greater.

The Neta-Teej, excommunicated from the Holy Tribe, finds themselves caught between a desire for self destruction and rebellion, to force the hands of those who vye for power, no matter the outcome.

The child is not yet know as the Neta-Teej, but there are early signs of spiritual capacity. Hir inner world becomes the subject of external fixation and precipitates ascendency within the Temple of the Tribe. The demands of this journey distort hir teikum and hir vision of self. Yet the motives of the Tribe are entwined with the politics of the United Terran Coalition and those who sit on the Quadrumvirate.

The Crone has removed herself from the Holy Quadrumvirate and fled the Tribe. Accompanied by the Neta-Teej, escaped from the Temple, they have been offered asylum on Europa.
But the United Terran Coalition will not sit idle. The Jovian moon is home to the unholy creations and violent dissidents of the Falconer. A military mobilization is mounted by the UTC to reclaim their deities and to ascertain the truth of what has been done on Europa.
